William E. Sanford became President of Fairway Group Holdings Corp. in April 2012. When he first came on board, he was the company’s CFO for a few months too. In 2008 Sanford became Operating Partner at the firm; he joined Sterling Investment Partners in January 2009, but has been affiliated with the corporation since 2000 when the firm supported him and his partners in the buyout of Wilmar Industries, Inc. He boasts more than two-and-a-half decades’ experience in the industry of wholesale distribution.
