Thomas Peterffy is the founder, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Interactive Brokers Group, Inc. He has been at the company for more than three-and-a-half decades. As well, in 2000, he set up Interactive Brokers Canada Inc., where he acts as Chairman, CEO and President. In these capacities, Peterffy is responsible for the company’s day-to-day management. In 1994, he founded Interactive Brokers Group, Inc., a holding company of Interactive Brokers Canada Inc. Since the end of 2006, he has been its i Chairman, CEO and President.
