Terri Kelly became President and CEO of W. L. Gore & Associates Inc. in 2005. She has been with the company since 1983, when she began in the Fabrics Division as a mechanical engineer. Kelly brings to Gore tremendous experience, from when she was in the military fabrics business as a product specialist and then division leader. Under her leadership, it became a top producer of protective products for the global armed forces. At Gore, Kelly has helped set up the fabrics manufacturing plant in Shenzhen, China, which was the company’s first fabrics plant in Asia. Today, there are 500+ associates in Asia Pacific. Kelly also served on the Enterprise Operations Committee, holding close ties with top leaders of the company, helping develop its strategy.
