Steven R. Altman was appointed Vice Chairman of Qualcomm toward the end of 2011. For six-and-a-half years prior to his current position, he was company President. Other executive roles Altman has held at the firm include: Executive VP; President of QTL; Chief Architect of strategy for licensing Qualcomm’s broad intellectual property portfolio for wireless communications. With him in these positions, Qualcomm has adopted domestic and international licensing agreements with the world’s largest telecommunications and electronics companies. Altman started working at the company in 1989.
