Rahim Hirji is Executive VP and Chief Risk Office of Manulife Financial. He also sits on the firm’s Executive and Management Committees. In these capacities, Hirji is in charge of Manulife Financial’s Enterprise Risk Management framework. This includes all aspects of risk management oversight functions internationally: credit, market, and insurance and operational risks. Other positions Hirji has held at the firm include: Chief Financial Officer (for the Canadian Division); head of the company’s Global Asset Liability Management Operations; financial and actuarial positions in the company’s corporate, American and Canadian Divisions.
