Patricia A. Woertz became CEO and President of Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) in 2006 and a few months later, she became chairman of the board of directors. With Woertz at the helm, ADM has enjoyed “record financial results,” alongside a growth in: sourcing, transportation and processing networks. She has also worked with ADM’s board and senior leadership to strengthen the Company’s strategic focus and planning, and to promote safety, continuous learning and sustainability initiatives companywide.
