Mike Ciskowski is Executive VP and CFO at Valero. This puts him in charge of the company’s Treasury, Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, Trading Controls, Insurance and Information Services. Before his current role, Ciskowski held various other financial positions such as: Investor Relations Director, Financial Planning Director and Manager of Financial Planning. As head of the company’s Corporate Development Department, he supervised a whole slew of successful acquisitions including the purchases of the Benicia Refinery, Corpus Christi East Refinery, Huntway Refining Co., UDS and the St. Charles Refinery. Indeed, it has been due to Ciskowski that Valero has developed a reputation for successful, timely acquisitions. He has been with the company since the 1990s.
