Lowell C. McAdam has been CEO of Verizon Communications Inc. at Verizon Enterprise Solutions Group since August 1, 2011. Just under a year earlier, he was appointed its President. Other executive roles he has held through various branches of the company include: COO; CEO; Executive VP and President of Verizon Wireless; Executive VP of Verizon Communications Inc.; Executive VP and COO of Verizon Wireless Capital LLC. In one interview in 2011, vis-à-vis the company’s future direction, McAdam said, “Our message is that we would love to partner with others, to bring your applications onto those broad platforms, to be able to tap into things like health care and Smart Cities and energy management, and other machine to machine applications.”
