Founded in 1932 by Ole Kirk Christiansen, Lego began as a wooden toy business. Derived from the Danish words ‘leg’ (play) and ‘godt’ (well), today it is into one of the most recognized premium toy brands in the world, as well as one of Denmark’s most iconic companies. There is also a Lego community which today forms one of the company’s principal assets.
