Laura Alber is CEO, President and Director of Williams-Sonoma, Inc. She joined the company in 1995 as a Pottery Barn senior buyer and in 2010, was elected to the Board. Today, Alber’s responsibilities in these top executive positions include: developing strategic direction for the company; keeping the company’s more than 20,000 associates focused on delivering top quality service; and ensuring the company’s mission of enhancing the quality of life for its customers, at home, through its products. She seeks to combine merchandising and brand development with a worldwide vision. Other roles Alber has held in the company prior to these positions include: President of Pottery Barn Brands, Executive VP of Pottery Barn Merchandising and Senior VP of Pottery Barn Catalog and Pottery barn Kids Retail.
