Kevin S. Crutchfield was appointed to Alpha Natural Resources’ board of directors at the end of 2007 and elected CEO in 2009. In 2012 he became Chairman as well. He also has served on the safety, health, environmental and sustainability committee, as well as company President and Executive VP of Alpha Natural Resources LLC. amongst other positions.
