Intel Corporation

Founded by Robert Noyce and Gordon Moore in 1968 and headquartered in California, Intel Corporation is a US multinational semiconductor chip-maker corporation.  It invented the x86 series of microprocessors, integrated into most PCs today. The company also produces embedded processors; flash memory; graphic chips; motherboard chipsets,  and other related computing/communications devices. Intel combines two main areas:  chip design and leading-edge manufacturing capacity. The company’s “Intel Inside” 1990s advertising campaign, made Intel into a household name.
