Charles Brandes is the founder (1974) and chairman of Brandes Investment Partners LP. This puts him in charge of guiding the company’s strategic decisions. He is also responsible for executing the company’s vision and objectives. In addition, Brandes sits on the Investment Oversight Committee that oversees the work of these committees. He has written a book on value investing, and he sits on the board of various scientific, eleemosynary and cultural organizations. Brandes has four-and-a-half decades of investment experience, with over 25 of them being in the capacity of a CFA charterholder.
