Based in Somers, New York, the Pepsi Bottling Group, Inc. was the largest Pepsi-Cola beverage bottler in the world. Their sales accounted for more than 50% of the Pepsi-Cola beverages sold in both the U.S. and Canada. They were also responsible for 40% of sales across the globe.
PBG had the sole right to manufacture, sell and distribute Pepsi-Cola drinks in 43 states, the District of Columbia, 9 Canadian provinces, Spain, Greece, Russia, Turkey and Mexico.
PBG was acquired by PepsiCo in 2009.
