Bill Scannell is Executive VP, Americas and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at EMC Corporation. Thus he leads the company’s development and continued leadership, delivering and supporting all its products, services, and solutions to organizations in both established and new markets in North and South America and across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He is also expected to improve regional partner and channel relationships. Alongside these roles, Scannell has to develop and preserve relationships with the company’s largest global accounts, global alliance partners, and global channel partners. With Scannell in these roles the firm has “accelerated its market leadership in information storage, storage software, and storage-related services, and has firmly established itself as the market leader in information infrastructure solutions.” He has been with the company since 1986.
