Steven P. Benscoter became VP of Human Resources of Stryker Corporation in 2012, having joined the firm in 1995 in the Instruments division. In this role, he is in charge of all the company’s HR policies, practices, planning, direction and activities. This includes: Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Total Rewards, HR Shared Services, and Communications & Public Affairs. When he first started with Stryker, Bencoster fast excelled in a variety of operations and human resources roles. In 2003 he relocated to Puerto Rico to be a plant manager, and two years later returned to Michigan when he became Global VP of Human Resources for the Instruments Division. Thereafter, he was also VP and GM of two business units within the Instruments division, and also led the integration of our neurovascular acquisition.
