Headquartered in California, Quiksilver, Inc. is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of surfwear and other boardsport-based equipment. It Roxy brand is a popular line of apparel for young women and its other line – Quicksilver Women (QSW) – offers clothing for women and girls too. Quicksilver’s DC and Hawk brands are compatible with the culture of surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding. Some of its brands are: Raisins, Radio Fiji and Leilani and it has a line of high-end apparel and accessories under its QuiksilverEdition brand. The Quiksilver Foundation was developed in 2005 in order to “provide environmental, educational, health and youth-related projects to boardriding communities around the world,” in a charitable endeavor.
