Founded in 1970 Northland Investment Corporation is an integrated real estate investment firm which works in the areas of “acquisition, development, operation and long-term ownership of multifamily, commercial, retail, industrial, and mixed-use properties.” Since its inception, Northland has managed over 20 million sq. ft of properties nationwide. It seeks to “identify opportunities from a contrarian perspective.” The firm has five funds: Northland Portfolio L.P., Northland Fund L.P., Northland Fund II, L.P., Northland Fund III, L.P., and Northland Fund IV, L.P – a sixth one in the fundraising and investment period is the Northland Fund V, L.P.
