John McHutchison, MD, is Executive VP of Clinical Research at Gilead Sciences Inc., giving him responsibility for the firm’s development programs in liver diseases, oncology, respiratory diseases and inflammation. Other roles he has held include: Senior VP of Liver Disease Therapeutics. In addition, he is currently a member of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. McHutchison has been with the firm since 2010.
