Joining Colgate in 1976, Ian M. Cook now holds the executive positions of Chairman, President and CEO of Colgate-Palmolive. To land these top executive roles, Cook worked in various marketing and managerial positions beforehand. Now, as Chairman, he is responsible for: Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America. When the roles of President and COO were added to his title, Cook then took on responsibility for the entire operations of Colgate globally. The following year, he became the company CEO as well and then director.
