56-year old Gregg W. Steinhafel has been the President, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Target Corporation for approximately 12 years. Prior to that, he was with the company for two decades, working in a variety of operational managerial positions. In 1999 he became the company’s President; in 2008 its CEO; and the following year Chairman of Target, as well. As CEO it is up to Steinhafel to set the strategy and priorities for the company as well as ensuring its mission is implemented while navigating its continued success. Through his time with the company, Steinhafel has acquiesced substantial expertise in leadership and retail knowledge.
