Frank Wood was appointed Executive VP and CFO of Alpha Natural Resources LLC in August 2009. Mr. Wood serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer of Foundation Coal Corporation. In June 2012, when the company amended its $1.6 billion secured credit facility, Wood said, “we continue to navigate a challenging market environment.” By doing this, it is hoped Alpha’s financial flexibility will be escalated following the drop in domestic demand for fuel.
