Daniel E. Straus is head of a variety of healthcare-related companies under the umbrella of the Straus Group, including CareOne LLC.  With his experience in the field of law and philanthropy, Straus also established Aveta Inc., a Medicare-based organization helping individuals who live with a chronic illness.  Having inherited the healthcare company from his father, Straus then ran the Straus Group with his brother, managing three nursing homes. Today, this corporation spans close to 200 places, employing almost 18,000 people.
