Colin P. Smith CBE has been a member of the Board at Rolls-Royce since 2005. Prior to this he was Director – Research and Technology and Director of Engineering and Technology – Civil Aerospace. In the summer of 2012 he was awarded a CBE for services to UK engineering. Smith has been working at Rolls-Royce since 1974.
