CJ Peterson is executive director of sales and business development, for Diversegy, LLC, a company he joined in 2013 as Director of Sales where he personally managed the growth of his own book of energy business, while mentoring a team of sales and account executives. Prior to joining Diversegy, he managed his own energy brokerage organization, growing his network of over 4,000 independent agents and amassing a client base of over 20,000 residential and commercial energy meters across deregulated energy markets in the US. CJ graduated from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management with a BSB in Marketing. However, it was the weekly stories heard from business owners at the U of M entrepreneurial club, and the principles learned from his parents in running their Dairy Queen franchises that taught him the true value of business and how to treat people.
