Boothbay Management LLC is engaged in three main categories of business. These are: the seeding of early-stage hedge funds; one-time investments; and the administration of the Boothbay Multi Strategy Fund which hires portfolio managers/traders, through a managed account. The company also makes allocations to liquid non-correlated managers that show both good risk and/or reward characteristics. It garners support from some of the most successful family offices in the world. Boothbay Management also allocates finances to Boothbay traders, along with some outside managers.
