Web entrepreneur Andrew W. “Drew” Houston is the founder and CEO of Dropbox (a web-based backup and storage service). Dropbox was developed in 2007, after Houston kept forgetting his USB drive, while studying at MIT. He felt there was a market for developing something different as the services that existed at the time had various problems that seemed unsolvable, such as: bugs, files that were too large, or were just not easy to use. Thus he wanted to develop something he could use but very quickly saw it could be beneficial to others encountering the same issues.
