Alan Mulally

Alan Mulally became President and CEO of Ford Motor Company in 2006.  When he took on these top executive positions, the company had been faring badly in the recession but with Mulally at its helm, this predicament encountered an 180 degree turnaround and started profiting once more.   Indeed, at that time, it was the only auto manufacturing company in the US able to avoid the pitfalls of government-sponsored bankruptcy. Mulally’s responsibilities today include: all airplane development activities; certification and government technical liaison and flight-test operations.  In addition, it was due to him that all Boeing commercial airplane programs and related services were set up which resulted in garnering the company record orders for new business and sales of over $22.6 billion.
