Abraham (Abe) Peled became Executive Chairman and CEO of NDS Group plc in 1995. He is also a member of the News Corporation Executive Committee. During his time at the company – a leading provider of technology solutions for the pay TV industry – Peled has taken the company through tremendous successful expansions. Indeed, under his guidance, NDS has grown tenfold, netting more than 35 percent of market share in the global digital technology for pay TV industry. Much of this has come from the fact that the company is News Corporation’s in-house technology provider. Still, it is clear that it had been Peled’s smarts that has been crucial in NDS’s success.
